FOX is returning to the comedy game on Wednesday nights and it's all thanks to Brad Garrett and Til Death and the lead-in new sitcom, Back to You with Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton.
One of the tallest Jews I've ever met, Brad talked to JewReview.net about the new season of his show, and TV newcomer Josh Gad plays the boss of Kelsey and Patricia on his show.

All you want to know about this season on Family Guy
Family Guy has to be one of the best shows on television, and this summer, I had the chance to be part of the table read for the FOX animated series' 100th episode.
After that, I spoke with Alex Borstein, Mila Kunis and Seth MacFarlane about the show and what we can expect from Season Six on Family Guy.
The entire interview is right here. Family Guy's kick-off this fall was a retelling of Star Wars.

Kathy Najimy is Awesome!
So during the recent Television Critics Association, I had the pleasure of speaking with Kathy Najimy, who voices Peggy Hill from King of the Hill. We also got into talking about her husband's band, The Dan Band.
You can check out the whole interview here.
King of the Hill premieres tonight on FOX.

Stephen Colbert's Repentance Hotline
So Stephen Colbert has once again set up his Repentance Hotline through his program, The Colbert Report.
All you have to do is call up the designated number, 1-888-OOPS-JEW (1-888-667-7539) and you can repent for all those sins throughout the year. I guess this is rather than doing it at shul during Yom Kippur.
I’m still trying to figure out if this is a good thing or just a really stupid thing. From what I can recall, Colbert set up the same kind of thing during Chanukah last year. And my theory is he’s definitely trying to have fun with the whole concept.
I’m not the biggest fan of Stephen Colbert to begin with, but there are certain things that he does that are really funny. Most of the time, I find him completely arrogant and annoying. There aren’t too many skits that make me laugh, and I think sometimes he says some things which just are plain rude.
Last night, he had Ed Asner call in to the Repentance Hotline – extremely funny stuff! If you want a laugh or two in the next two days, dial 1-888-OOPS-JEW (1-888-667-7539).

JaMarcus Russell signs with the Raiders???
So I hear JaMarcus Russell has finally signed his contract last night for $68 million with the Oakland Raiders. That makes him the final draft pick to sign with his team; granted, he was the number one pick but four months? What was everyone thinking???
My theory is the Raiders wanted this guy badly enough after the way they performed on Sunday – I guess they really just need some fresh legs at quarterback. 83-year-old Dante Culpepper isn’t going to cut it.
But let me point out something here – at first, they were squabbling over $3 million. The originally contract from the Raiders was offered at around $27 million; Russell’s people wanted around $30 million. So what the hell happened to push it up to $68 million?
Now, does anyone actually think Russell’s going to perform well enough that he’ll take the Raiders to the ‘next level?’ Most likely, he won’t even play in one single game this year; the kid held out of training camp, the pre-season, and the first game of the season. If Al Davis has a brain on his shoulders, he shouldn’t let this kid even on the field this year.
But then again, we already know the man doesn’t know anything about how to put a winning team together anymore. The Raiders have become the laughing stock of the NFL – way to go Detroit, you don’t have that distinction anymore!!
Anyway, if it were up to me, after all this holding out, I would have traded him or just plain gotten rid of him. Who needs a 21-year-old punk on your team, who’s only out for money? You already have 50 on your team with much more experience, why add a fresh rookie to that mix.

Britney Spears fizzles - but are you really that surprised?
So people are saying that Britney Spears’ performance at tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards was a letdown.
But really – was anyone actually expecting anything mind blowing? I know I wasn’t.
Take nothing away from how incredibly talented Ms. Spears is – she’s certainly an amazing performer. Always has been, and maybe will possibly be one of the best of all time. But it’s been nearly 4 years since the girl was sane.
And I mean that with all the sincerity in the world; you kind of have to feel sorry for the girl. A millionaire-turned-trailer girl - - oh, wait. Sorry, trailer girl-turned trailer girl, who earned a crap load of money, and didn’t know how to handle it.
Ok, so back to the performance – first, her new song, Gimme More, didn’t do anything for me when I first heard it last week. And so, hearing it live and watching Britney lip-sync it and try to dance on stage didn’t do too much more. Common girl, you did used to sing live during your concerts; what happened?
I don’t know…maybe in another year you’ll get the guts to sing again. But right now, you just don’t have it.
